(164) [The angels say],[1310] "There is not among us any except that he has a known position.[1311]

164. And there is not one of us (angels) but has his known place (or position);

وَمَامِنَّآ إِلَّا لَهُۥ مَقَامٞ مَّعۡلُومٞ
And in no way is there one of us, (i.e., the angels) except that he has a known station,
