(92) [Moses] said, "O Aaron, what prevented you, when you saw them going astray,

92. [Mûsâ (Moses)] said: "O Hârûn (Aaron)! What prevented you when you saw them going astray;

قَالَ يَٰهَٰرُونُ مَا مَنَعَكَ إِذۡ رَأَيۡتَهُمۡ ضَلُّوٓاْ
He (Musa) (Moses) said, "O Harun, what prevented you, when you saw them err away,

[Musa (Moses)] said: "O Harun (Aaron)! What stopped you when you saw them going astray;

(20:92) (After rebuking his people) Moses turned to Aaron and said: "Aaron!

Moses said, ‘When you realized they had gone astray, what prevented you, Aaron,
