(91) Thus.[797] And We had encompassed [all] that he had in knowledge.

كَذَٰلِكَۖ وَقَدۡ أَحَطۡنَا بِمَا لَدَيۡهِ خُبۡرٗا
Thus it was, and We already encompassed in cognizance what was close to him.

So (it was)! And We knew all about him (Dhul-Qarnain).

(18:91) Thus was the state of those people, and We encompassed in knowledge
all concerning Dhu al- Qarnayn.
